Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is a Mexican American Sportscaster. Her current role is a sportscaster for ESPN and is an anchor of SportsCenter as well as hosting SportsNation. She was hired by ESPN in the year of 2016. Her mother is Maria Antonieta Collins, a journalist on television. Antonietta was bilingual from when she was nine years old. The ability that helped her get her first role as an Univision producer assistant Miami. In Miami, she worked with the producers of television shows that were national, like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. In St. Petersburg, she was recruited by the CBS station to work as an sports reporter. Then, in 2009 the reporter relocated to Rio Grande Valley Texas where she worked for KNVO TV 48 Univision as and Fox2 News. Reporters covered issues related to illegal immigration as well as drug trafficking throughout Texas and Mexico. The duties of anchoring on sports and weather was regularly asked for. They eventually settled in Mexico City and she was born there on the 22nd of November in 1985. She is more mature than her younger sister. In 1992 the family left Mexico for the US and eventually settled in Miami. The couple divorced within a short time and in the year 1995, she got married to a naval designer named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 of kidney cancer. In the course of a family holiday in Ohio, the young Collins was able to take a job along with her sister. Antonietta was the senior of her high school, but she was very aware of her career goals. She went to Mount Union University in order to determine if they suited her. Then she was enthralled with the school. The university offered her major. After finishing high school, she decided to enroll at the university with a major in media studies. The relationship she formed was long-lasting with her instructor Mark Bergmann who was the director for WRMU 91.1 FM, of which she was a member. Her professor urged her to be confident and was deeply touched by his love of journalism.
